Our Vision
Hummingbird Halo is a non-profit educational farm where we teach people to grow their own food, raise animals, make cheese... We would turn your property into a bountiful farm with monthly farm tours that are Free for kids. Guests would see up close the different things that grow well in our Mediterranean climate (fruit/nut trees, grains, veggies...), we would have cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, and goats.
Adding Trails, Camping, and a Cemetery
These are new elements we are seeking to add to the land. People would be able to calm their minds as they walk through miles of trails. Secluded campgrounds would allow total peace for grieving families to heal in nature. Symbiotic burials would allow people to make their final act one that is good for nature and could provide for endless future generations. You could pick your final resting place on your favorite property!
Our Accomplishments
Since 2011 our efforts to promote sustainable agriculture have been featured on CBS, Huffington Post, Mercury News...and many more. We have attracted donations/volunteer days from companies like Airbnb, Opentable, Facebook, Walmart, Deputy Sheriffs' Association, Volkswagen... We are a married couple trying to make a positive change in this world. If you could help us achieve our dreams, we would be grateful and try in many ways to repay you with future visits as our guests of honor. We could even name one of the peaks after you! We're a proud 501(c)3 if you want to donate your land in Sonoma County. We have been educating the public on Sustainable and Symbiotic Farming for years, please help us teach about a new form of symbiosis! Let's put a Halo on our Hummingbird!
